Tour Divide is a solo, self-supported ultra-cycling challenge following the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Riders can join a June Grand Départ or make an independent attempt during the season.

Four distinct long-distance efforts at the July 17 checkpoint

TUM reported Mike Wardian’s southbound two-month PCT project underway; it did not call that project an FKT attempt. Aurélien Sanchez was on day 40 of a supported northbound PCT record attempt, with 2,204 of 2,650 miles reported complete Friday morning. Heather Jackson’s Tour Divide attempt had begun Thursday. Karel Sabbe’s supported HexaTrek FKT start and tracking were planned for Monday.
